Get Involved
The greatest changes happen when we work together.
We collaborate with researchers, advise landowners, and invite students and businesses to engage in hands-on learning in the field. Whether you are a professional or a nature enthusiast, you are welcome in the Wilderness.
On this page, you will find all the ways you can get involved and become part of the journey toward more and wilder nature in Denmark.
Research
Research and the development of best practices are fundamental to the Wilderness.
Since the beginning, we have conducted multiple studies and hosted research projects on airborne e-DNA, small mammals, bats, and insects—and we are happy to provide land for your project as well.
The Wilderness Team can assist with implementation, logistics, and communication for your project.

Professional Visits
Are you a landowner, business, or interest organisation? We offer advisory services, professional consultations, visits, and networking opportunities.
We also aim to develop and support youth engagement in rewilding and invite youth organisations and networks to join this effort. For example, we have hosted The Young Biodiversity Ambassadors, Wild Campus, DOF Youth, and the Young Nature Alliance. If you belong to a similar group, feel free to contact us.
